What is Total Worker Health?
As defined by NIOSH, “Total Worker Health™ is a strategy integrating occupational safety and health protection with health promotion to prevent worker injury and illness and to advance health and well-being.”
Integrating safety and health protection with health promotion leads to the optimal occupational athlete and a more productive workforce. This implies a shared responsibility (and a true partnership) between the employer each employee.
